The annual Labour Day Slo-pitch tournament.
This is the first year that I'm not playing in the tournament since I moved up this way from Guelph. Mike is playing, so I'll be up in town watching most of the games...and definitely visiting the beer garden.
My parents are coming!
If you've read my About page, you know that I used to live in British Columbia. All of my family still lives there, and my parents are driving out across Canada to come visit. This is the first time that they'll have seen the house, so I'm in panic mode a little bit because I feel like it's a total dump. They will get here on September 9th or 10th!
House keeping.
This is totally in relation to the goings-on above. I am cleaning up and junking OUT! Well, I'm planning to. I haven't started yet, because I am the world's best procrastinator.
Door painting.
The bathroom door is on it's way to being finished! While I originally planned to strip and stain it, after using a heat gun, chemical stripper, and various sanders...it became pretty obvious that this door was never originally stained. Although I would have loved the look of a wood door, it just wasn't happening.
Yard work.
I spent some time last week getting rid of a gazillion wheelbarrows full of Great Burdock. These damn plants were EVERYWHERE and they are a total nuisance to the dog. Hopefully I'll only have to do this for a couple more years before they stop popping up.
Watching Being Erica.
I can't stop watching this entirely cheesy Canadian show. I watch at least two episodes a day. Which is contributing to my procrastination skills.
