First Home Dreams was created in 2011 as a place to document the restoration, renovation, and decoration of an old brick farmhouse that was built in 1899. The plan was for that house to be our forever home, but just a few years later, we’ve been given the opportunity of a lifetime - to move to a new old brick farmhouse, complete with a farm.
I’m Ashley, the rambling girl behind First Home Dreams. I love antique hardware, books, animals, marathon Netflix sessions, and a tall lanky guy named Mike. First Home Dreams is my place to talk about my favourite things incessantly without annoying the people in my off-line life. Although, I’m sure that happens anyway. No biggie.
I wish I could be more specific about what First Home Dreams is all about…but I tried that once and things turned upside down (although in a good way). Dreams change, and this place will evolve as it needs to.
