Nothing to see here, folks.

August 20, 2012

Honestly, there isn't.

On Saturday, we went to a Blue Jays game in Toronto with a group of friends and had a great time, but it was a looooong day.

On Sunday, we slept in, and then wrestled with running some satellite cable. Our satellite is at the far corner of our property (otherwise the trees are in the way), and we plan on burying the lines in conduit. It's a serious pain in the butt mowing our lawn right now. We decided to run four lines (each is 150ish feet), and the diameter of the conduit was just barely big enough for all four lines. So that was fun. Except not, at all. There were words said and future parenting styles challenged (Why do we need four lines? Are you having more than one kid? Well, I didn't have tv in my room growing up. Congratulations). Yep. We did manage to take out our frustration by basically playing tug-of-war with the cable. My arms sort of hurt today.

Eventually we got it all through the conduit, and now it's just a matter of running it into the house, which I'm assuming Mike is going to do today since he's off.

I hope everyone had a good weekend!
